White Grass Ocean Resort & Spa has an island style restaurant and bar set high on an ancient reef overlooking the rugged western coastline. Adjoining is an outside deck area with alfresco dining and a comfortable lounge for you to relax. Enjoy whales and dolphins swimming past. Watch the spectacular sunsets from the restaurant, outside deck or one of our sunset points where you can also have a ‘Special Occassion Dinner’ in a private and stunning setting.

Our blackboard menu changes daily and features organic vegetables, fruits and nuts, all locally grown without pesticides in the rich volcanic soil of Tanna. We source them Tri-weekly from the Lenakel market. The menu is seasonal and our seafood comes right from the front door – crayfish, squid, tuna, Wahoo, Poulet and Mahi Mahi.

We use the famous Vanuatu beef, locally farmed prawns from Teouma and the exceptional SWITI ice cream produced in Port Vila.

Our bar is fully stocked with Australian, New Zealand and French wines, and of course the Vanuatu Tusker beer. We have an extensive cocktail list to enjoy while watching the sun go down.

Our outside deck adjoins the restaurant and is set under palm trees. Enjoy a cocktail on our comfortable outdoor lounge or breakfast and lunch with breathtaking views along the western coast. On clear days you can see Erromango and watch dolphins or whales swim past from July to October every year.

Our Happy Hour is daily from 5 to 6 pm and we have reduced prices on beer, house wines and cocktail of the day.

The restaurant and bar is open to the public and all are welcome.
